The unit is equipped with a Platinum Series controller utilizing Advanced System Protection Technology. This features a series of strategically placed monitoring probes, which insure efficient performance and long cooling unit life. In a small wine cellar space is at a premium and a split system is an ideal way to minimize the volume used your cooling unit occupies.

The WHISPERKOOL Platinum Split 8000 Ductless is a split-system wine cellar cooling unit that keeps the noisy condenser separate from the evaporator, without requiring any ductwork — the evaporator simply conditions the room directly, for wine rooms up to 2,000 ft³. This ductless split configuration is a popular wine cellar cooling unit choice when a cellar's layout allows the evaporator to sit inside the room but there's nowhere practical to run supply and return ducts. It's a flexible option for collectors who want the quiet benefits of a split system wine cooler without the added complexity of ducted distribution.
